Our shimmer fabric is extremely special, and it needs to be loved and have extra care taken with it. As this shimmer fabric is delicate, avoid rough surfaces like rocks & pool edges, to minimize snagging, and please be careful when wearing jewelry and bags as this special fabric can catch.
Our modest swimwear always remains elegant in the water, the dress does not bounce up, thanks to our hidden knot system.
Each MADAMME BK trousers contains a pair of laces, one on each side of the hip, allowing it to be attached to the swim dress.

Made exclusively in France at a family-owned factory in the charming region of Normandy, using only the finest Italian lightweight, quick-dry, UV-protective swim fabrics from Lake Como - in Northern Italy’s Lombardy region.

Exploring the know-how of French sewing, "le savoir-faire français", all the details from our burkinis are handmade.
The manufacturing of our pieces combines an attentive handcraft expertise with the latest technology, which is applied in different stages until reaching the final swimsuit piece.
In order to create the prettiest swimsuit designs, our unique paper patterns turns into digital patterns due to laser cutting our swim fabric for extremely accurate cuts.
Ethical Manufacturing

This is why our seamstresses are paid higher than minimum wages.
Approximately 90% of the women employed by our factory partner are the heads of their households and are provided with social security and health benefits to help improve their standards of living.

Qality Control
Once all the pieces of the production are finished, the quality department performs an exhaustive piece by piece visual and tactile control, as well as a use test with a sample of each production.
Each burkini is then hand-pressed, ironed and individually special wrapped before being sent to our warehouse in the Netherlands and finally shipped to you!
